A few weeks ago, searching compact Revolver music store, I found the compilation album The Stone Roses, a band born in the UK in the late 80s. Revising his Lp, one can imagine groups of the size of Oasis and Blur in the early years, and that some critics argue that these and other Brit-pop bands have absorbed some of the music of The Stone Roses.
The album begins with "I Want to Be Adored" humming the track by fans, still later with themes as peculiar as "She bangs the drums", "Waterfall" or "Fools gold" to end a song of 1989, "I am the resurection. "
About as I met the group through the song "my dear Elizabeth," this does not appear, perhaps because the disc I wanted to keep the essence of The Stones Roses.
Recommend compilation who delve into the origins of the Brit Pop
